I sent them the blanking grommet from the passenger door handle for a colour match. They returned it safe and sound and the colour match was excellent. They'll also keep the colour match on their data base for future reference

Apparently the back box is knackered and needs replacing. I've been quoted £25 to weld it up, £240 for a Bosal or £190 for a Tymax. Has anybody replaced the centre dash vent unit? Mine has collapsed and I have a replacement sat there waiting to be fitted but I'm bothered I'm gonna make a pigs ear of it prising it out of the dash. Is it an easy job to do? Any pointers greatfully accepted

Ah right! Yes it did have the plate surrounds but I didn't think they were dealer fit. I thought they were a Hallfords type accessory so I took them off.

How do you go about getting an agreed valuation? Do you suggest a value and they send someone to inspect the vehicle or do they just inspect the vehicle and tell you what they think it's worth?
