Hi Regardless of what you buy, make sure all 4 tyres are the same as this will make alot of difference to the handling. Previous cars I've had have had different tyres and I thought the handling was crap, but when I put 4 new tyres on the handing was a lot better, and not just down to tyre wear on t...

Hi There Mine is stuck at 3000rpm and rarely moves. had it checked out and it is the rev counter unit that is faulty. You need to get hold of either a rev counter or a full set of clocks and swap the rev counter over into your clocks. Obviously you need to make sure the rev counter you are going to ...

Hi Guys

Thanks for the replies, some of you are mentioning spacers, I thought I would only need spacers if the offset is incorrect :? do the spacers stop the wheel rubbing on the inside, hence the need to roll the arches?

Thanks

Hi Don't think Bilstien do springs only, the ones that come with their streetline and sprintline kits are ventura springs which are sold seperately through eurocar parts. I posted a similiar suspension question and was advised by most people not to mix and match springs and shocks, ie buy a kit apex...

Al.... It really depends what offset they are, mine were ET13 and you wouldn't want them to sit any further out, but there was plenty of clearance behind They are et20 at the front and et15 at the rear. Thanks for info. The car is getting some welding done on the inner arches this weekend so I will...

It's no big deal to MIG weld a couple of small steel plates into the rear wheel arches, (although beware of petrol vapours). It's not like you have to produce an invisible repair. Brian I only wish it was a couple of plates :( The right hand side is that bad that the petrol tank has got to come out...
