thanks i will change the afm asap it can't be that difficult and report back, sounds like it could be the culprit now you explained the speeding up and slowing down. but as i said it happens mainly underload

hi thanks for your replies, been out in the car, i made a mistake the revs they dont drop to 0, they drop to around 1.5 to 2, car idles fine not lumpy, it idles at 1.5 when cold and drops to just below 1 when warm, the car never has a problem starting always 1st time even in the cold

ok read the thread, when the engine cuts out the revs drop to 0 and in split second they shoot back up to 5000 or however many revs im giving the car, it doesn't stall and no lights come on the dash, its only happens when i boot it. I have experienced stuttering when driving at normal speeds this do...

hi all, my clutch is slipping in my 325
i cant afford stealership or garage prices to do it, is there anyone in bournemouth/poole area that can help, im happy to pay of course, i really don't wnat to have to get rid of the car as ive put so much TLC into it, any help much appreciated thanks.

Hi all not been here for a while, hope you all had a merry xmas and a happy new year !! on with the issue. The bulkhead is double skinned, formed from, I think, the red part and the front half of the blue part. It's quite common to find that the studs that the glovebox attaches to (RH drive) are rusted off. This is caused by the sealant failing along the bottom of the area under the scuttle, ad water ge...

ive done this twice now im not experienced either, but i did the cut option, you cant even notice when everything is back in the car, but a Mechanic that also owns e30's told me you don't have to take heater matrix completely out, you just have to loosen it which kinda make sense !!

My mechanic buddies are neither poorly paid or inept :? Then get them to do the job! Why the rush to get the job done over a weekend? Let one of them have the car in, take their time and do the conversion. Beemerlad hadn't done it before, and he did it twice. sorry m8, but quite clearly he wants so...
