Re: What way to go with the E30 cosworth?
Here's a picture of mine on compomotive's but they're only 15's - wheels are th monos. http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s170/fatboy171082/photo-3.jpg As you're running 5x120 you should have plenty options - look out for something off an ex e36 race car (as long as they're not bent!). That looks a...

Re: What way to go with the E30 cosworth?
Some 'Motorsport' door handles would look the dog's danglies on it! :D winkeye Might look a bit better on the super micra lol Even though the micra is a 1.4,the motorsport door handles would not suit it's battered appearance.....'er indoors even managed to mangle the n/s door on a gate post going f...

Re: What way to go with the E30 cosworth?
Bigger brakes, more power, remove the eyebrows and change the wheels - that's what I would do. I like the fact it looks fairly standard but with an awesome engine under the bonnet. What have you done with your old 'box out of interest? Is E30 M3 brakes not good enough? What power would they be rate...

Im sorry, you really don't need these, Just because some muppet got a "sick laser cutter" for Christmas doesn't mean you have to give him your hard earned cash! Re:
I would take the vinyl stickers off, take the eyebrows off, source a proper ford cosworth boot badge, replace the wheels with standard 15" cross spokes (if they fit) or if you've fitted bigger brakes maybe something from http://www.rs-felgen.de if your talking about centerlocks. Dont fit a dtm exha...

Re: E30 Motorsport door handles
Not a fan of the pointless council handles however it's OP's car and he should do as he pleases with he's property and his hard earned cash. :o: Its hardly an original example to start with so i cant see the harm in fitting them and seeing what it looks like! Might have found a set so i will post u...

Re: What way to go with the E30 cosworth?
Looks nice as it is, espectially under the bonnet! It's your car mate, but if you have an itching to throw some more money at it, why not buy more sets of wheels so you can change the look of your car back and forth. Thanks mate :) Yeah i have a few ideas but if you mention anything on here the hat...

Thanks for the info mate! I always wondered if the brakes were up to the jobjmc330i wrote:You shouldn't have any worries if it's normal daily driving. I also ran my S50 conversion with the standard 260mm brakes and they were fine for pottering around town, but really didn't like being pushed!

Re: What way to go with the E30 cosworth?
I ran E30 M3 brakes on my S50 conversion and they were fine for fast road use, but when pushed hard they would fade. I'm guessing the S50 weighs more than the YB lump though?? Ah well i think they will be fine as my car doesnt get thrashed that much to make them fade! If im planning using it on tra...

Re: What way to go with the E30 cosworth?
Eyebrows are the height of council tat. Centre locks are pretty pointless unless it's a race car, have fun changing a flat at the side of the road with those. Plus, centre lock DTM hubs cost more than most peoples cars on here, and centre lock adapters are gash I dont commute with the car so if it ...
