Re:
I always fill up 20 litres at a time and reset the trip each time, the miles i get range from 115-125 which equates to 26.14mpg-28.41 respectively. Thats in my 1990 325i touring.

I agree, their service is very good, i'm fairly new on here, used them for the first time yesterday, had the part numbers all ready so it was literally a two minute call - got a discout too which i wasn't expecting.
Just give em' a call, 01242 257999.

Re: How bad are E30's in the Winter
Last winter i had a fiat PANDA 750cc for a while, that was awesome fun in the snow/ice, embarrassed a fair few very expensive/powerful cars trying to get up the lane to where i worked. Ultra skinny tyres and hairdryer power!!

Re: What do you consider high mileage
My 325i touring today turned over to 223,000miles, its newish to me (posted pics earlier in gallery) and i am so surprised how well it has worn. Exterior/interior in really fab condition, aswell as the engine, so as others have said if well cared for and there is little rot, i'd go for it and wouldn...

Re: My newish to me 325i touring!
thanks guys, i'm planning on keeping it looking original, yep. Just fitting some rear headrests, like the look of these. The sport interior is in fab condition, just a small rip in base of drivers seat, so i'm planning on reupholstering the base section. Otherwise there isn't alot to do, just keep i...

touring rear headrests
Hi,
I've got me a set of headrests and plastic rings for my touring, my question is how do you know where to make the holes? Am i right in thinking touring rear benches already have the internal bits fitted as standard?
so its just a case of making holes? but where exactly?
thanks, Andy.

Re: clink clink
Okay thanks, yes its a high pitch metallic clink clink only noticable at low speeds like sub 30mph. This will give me somewhere to start anyway, thanks for the advice, its done 223,000miles so worn parts is probable.

clink clink
Hi, this is my first post here although i've been learning from the wealth of knowledge for a few weeks now. I've got a metallic clink clink noise coming from the rear of my 325i touring, it happens when going over rougher more uneven road surfaces, not particularly when turning corners though. I'm ...
