Steering column noise driving me mental!

Ive got this really annoying squealing coming from just behind the steering wheel, push the wheel away and it disappears, pull towards you gets louder. I took the wheel off and sprayed some grease around the column to no avail can anybody please help me its driving me round the bend!

Previous owner grot it from a polish guy.
Its probably best that its off the road as i think it had a dubious history, one of the many reasons being the ariel.

Cant help you much with the cooling issue but i believe the lead that was worn through measures the pulse from the ht lead its on and is vital for the engine to run.

Just make sure its plastic primer your using. As if not it wont last long.

Yes the diff is quiet, actually its the quietest thing on the car, apart from the stereo (One working speaker.) :roll:
The diff will be returned to its rightful owner.

Oh forgot to say i have a machined centre with an e30 uj on one end and an e36 uj on the other.
Also have the washers for the spacing.
Wasn't sure about the pulley though, is it hard to fit?
