Re: MEGA BAD IDLE AFTER LAY UP?
had a quick look, removed icv,all hoses seem ok,fittings ok etc,wd40 icv and pushed it to and through.seams to move freely.refitted it and started. its the same revs from 1 to 2k every second.with it running unplugged icv and idle drops to 800ish perfect? is the icv valve at fault?

always been fine, will remove icv and check throttle, plus any hoses for splits, this is not a common problem then. its too noisy to run up to temp but i think it cleared after 3-4 min when i run it up the other week

removing breather pipes from inlet elbow
i need to fit a new elbow onto my throttle body, there are 2 breather pipes going into the bottom, can i reun these into a catch tank or have they got to be sealed.remember when i removed my filler cap when running i got poor running because of pressure or something, might just be talking crap though....

Re: Will Frost's E30 track car build
if you remove your rear inline restictor from your brakes, put my name on it as i need a new one.(as long as its for rear discs)as mine from a drum model and over brakes the rear.

ok.
filled to top, undone bleed screw next to cap, blow down until water halfway down and only water coming out bleed, tighten.then run.
thats what i done tonight after changing water pump (had play)
will check it tomorrow.
dont beleve its head gasket as it runs too well with no symtoms

true about the armco bill, buts its not too bad price wise, what really bumps up the wallet damage on tf is you pay for the loss of takings for track closure, and marshal time etc.
same as trackdays here?you pay for track damage i think
