WTB: early rear bumper trim + left endcap
Looking for the above for my 85 323i. I do not need the complete bumper but will consider it. Must be willing to post to the US. Thanks in advance.

Re: Two different types of Pre face lift headlamps?
I was mistaken...the lights do have parking lights inside the low beam just the caps are different with different connectors. They have a plastic cap while my originals have a rubber cap that covers the connector.

Two different types of Pre face lift headlamps?
I have a euro 323i with 3 prong H1 Hellas with parking lamp inside. I bought replacement lamps that look identical except they are 2 prong (like ellipsoids) without the parking lamp inside.
What car did these lamps come from? Late face lift without ellipsoids?

A few months back I acquired my dream wheels... 17x9, 17x10 AC Schnitzer Type 1's. The M tech cabby now sports the refinished style 5's. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/reelizmpro/IMG_5739-highres_zpsb30be6ca.jpg http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/reelizmpro/IMG_5718-highres_zps3b11afc3.j...

In the US, even the full M Technic cabrio is referred to as a 325i and mechanically it is.

I told a friend of mine that he should produce these but the consensus was it was better to just replace the entire badge since the M portion is often pitted to hell. Can't wait to see what you have to offer though.

Especially for parts that were available in the US...like M tech 2 kits although they are a bit harder to find.Kedge wrote:Think it was close to 1k by the time they paid for the kit and shipping.
It's amazing what the Yanks pay for lashed up old parts!

I really like it. Only thing I would do is change the bootlid spoiler for a lower profile one like the standard sport, M tech 1 or perhaps none at all.

I wouldn't worry about it. The 370mm M tech 2 leather wheel is very sought after and has increased in price recently. Besides, steering wheels are easily swapped.

Re: 2 M3's and an M Technic cab
I have been looking to refinish the 15" basketweaves on my cab for a while but I needed another set of wheels to ride on. I saw an 84 318i in the local classifieds for $800, which isn't particularly interesting except it had factory BMW style 10's on it! I contacted the owner, offered her a set of s...

Many American's are driving imports these days vs Domestic and those that do own a US automaker's car are driving Cadillacs, Corvettes, Mustangs and Camaro's. Although we didn't get the Ford Sierra Cosworth here, we did get the Merkur XR4Ti which was essentially the same car sold under the Merkur br...

I have heard of people combining M10/S14 parts and turbocharging it but I don't think anyone with an M88 head will actually lop off 2 cylinders, block off coolant passages, etc. to build their own S14. Besides, one would probably have a better chance of finding genuine S14 parts with all of the engi...

Re: 2 M3's and an M Technic cab
In the states, California cars are coveted because the weather is nice year round. There is no snow and doesn't rain often so our cars don't rust out. Really, the perfect climate for cars unless of course you live close to the ocean, then salt in the air can cause surface rust over time. I acquired ...

Hi guys, I am aware of the different lights. I used the term reflector because in the ETK that's what they refer to the projector as. Removing the 3 screws to adjust the projector between LHD/RHD is well known, however, someone pointed out that there is a specific RHD (UK spec) projector since there...

Help with LHD vs RHD conversion
For years I've understood all that was needed to convert between LHD and RHD was to loosen the 3 screws behind the lowbeams and rotate the housing. However, some believe that the RHD spec projector is different altogether because it has a different part number. So I ask, if anyone here knows if this...

Anyone remember RH's? I remember ACS suing the rep makers, then junking all of the replicas. They are certainly reps, possibly RH.
