As bad as the above described scenario sounds, theres always two sides to the story. Maybe just a misunderstanding due to lack of communication?

^So an even drop on a pre-facelift is recommended? I would've thought to compensate for the higher arches, a slightly increased drop on the rear would be advised. Didn't alpina have a 60/40 drop on their pre-facelift models - lower at the front - but still not even? Before a 60/40 - standard http://...

Re: rear wheel camber
I think the consesus on the forum in general is to do things properly . Even if you 'cut' a coil off a spring you should do it 'properly'. You've got to remember the E30 sport left BMW with a decent drop with the best of both worlds [handling/looks for that period in time!] Hey - at the end of the d...

Goldy, if you know of where the car is for sure, I don't mind tagging along with a 21 stone (not fat) mate will be prepared to accompany you along. Re: New Rims on my BMW E30 ( BBS RM )
Looks a bit TOO high don't you think?
We swapped over the suspension on another zoners E30 from stock pre-facelift to a 40mm drop and it looks much lower than that - sitting on bottletops at the moment.
Lemme see if i can find a pic..

The back is wayyy too high. Cool rims. Don't know about the stretch though..or maybe its the higher arches making them look a bit wierd? where can I buy lowering springs ? prefer the vertical stitch. Much more retro and think it suits the E30 more. Then again i have a coupe winkeye Anytime a part is on a car that was not original for that MODEL, even if the part is an E30 part, the car looks like a junk yard lash-up frankenstein turd. In your opinion ofcourse?..You ca...
