yeh i did speak with the guy he wants 250 quid for it? is that a good price? sounds very steep to me but im used to buying cheap things

hi guys. due to my m40 blowing a hole in the side of the block (it got waterlogged and we though we fixed it) i now need a new engine. now my local breakers want 300 quid just for an M40!! i am now looking to fit an E36 M40 engine into it because it is cheaper and i need it quickly! how hard and wha...

i cant afford a six pot trust me first thing on my list when insurance finaly belives im not going to race people at lakeside!

yes the back pressure would drop! and also your fuel economy will drop aswell but it all depends on where it is on the system

pre 95 cars do not need a cat i belive but keep the lamda sensor because the m42 actualy produces more power with one(just improves ur air fuel)

hi guys have been thinking before i get my bbs' re done has anyone got a E30 on steelies? im just thinking to run some ultra wide steels for normal driving in the winter then the bbs' for the summer?

im paying 1300 on a 318 touring so i would love 700 pounds! there again i am 18

i want to do the same swap and i belive it is just engine (plus ancillaires),wiring loom and rad if u use the same gearbox?

never us the halfords stuff without primer! the amount of crap we see because of it!

nah i would stick the bbs' i unfortunatly work at halfruads with a red E30 touring and i linded one up and the bbs just look so much better

ok thats cool! i actualy put the m42 in kitcars for a living and they idle around 675 with a difrent manifold and induction kit so im not sure if that will help

would you need to tell the insurance company if u just change the engine number with the dvla?

hi maate i am going to swap my m40 in my touring for the 42 what car was your engine out of because at the moment i am looking at a 318ti engine? what would i need to do to adapt?

after buying my first E30 im starting to think what to do next.i have had a few ideas such as

corrado G60 brakes with rx7 calipers (is it worth as much as the mags say)
set of coil overs
and a nice M42 instead of the m40

any ideas?

my girlfriends old rover used to do that because we parked it into the wind on a hill lol but it was a rover

anyone going? if anyone is then come say hi on the GKD sports cars stand! well have the m42 powered legend on the stand but not the m3 powered evo coz its not finished!

may come down used to go there with the minis so highly recomend it!

hi guys finaly got my E30 touring! have one little issue though on my dash theres a warning light that has a circle with 3 squares both sides on it that comes on under full power? any ideas on why or what it is would be great
