yup just done that... found loads of rust in the old girl tooBrianmoooore wrote:E30 carpets are virtually indestructible, and can hold an amazing amount of liquid.
Pressure wash it, and hang it up to dry, so that one corner is the lowest point.

stick with me on this one but would you say getting an industrial jet wash on my e30's carpet once its out is a reasonable way of cleaning it.
bit of hot foam brush action then a good spray to get all the ingrained crap out.
it shouldn't do any harm to the fabric ?
any other Ideas guys ?

hi guys wheres it gone 8O the cars been sitting for years I started it the other day only ran it for a few seconds just to see if it started before I bought it came back today and all the waters gone. the inside driver and passenger wells are sopping now.... Im guessing the heater matrix has rupture...

If that is as sound as it looks,well done!A full and complete engine re-build is in danger of consuming your entire budget,though..depends on what is required.If you decide to completly strip/re-build the engine,for not a lot more money you can easily up the capacity to 2.7 or 2.8 by swapping in a ...
