Re: Bushes upgrade advice

Is there a Lemforder-type alternative for the offset front top mounts? Stealers are too expensive :( not really, when i saw the price i went for eibach/spc adjustable top mounts but they're nearly £400+ now compared to the sub £200 i paid nearly 10yr's ago. Lemforder could put a £50 premium on thei...

The S38B35 was based on the M88/3, but with changes including a dual-row timing chain, camshaft, compression ratio lowered to 9.8:1 and fitted with a catalytic converter.

Re: 325 sport rep

What pisses me off is the cost of insuring an essentially unmodified 325 rep (a m20'd 316) is double the cost of insuring a car born as a 325. Even more stupid is it costs less if the car started as a 320 - the cost is in the power gain over standard. Regardless of the fact that it is a rep of a sta...

Sorry to revive an old thread but can we conclude that a facelift loom will fit in a pre-facelift car? Specifically a facelift 2dr 325 in a pre-face 2dr 325. Expected benefits are to remove Clifford bodgery and update the C101 plug for M1.3. I assume the headlight/fogs/taillight plugs are different,...

Hi, My chromie 325 has a hole that has come through the bulkhead above the pedalbox, leaking water into the footwell. The hole has appeared around the bracket that the dash/ecu is mounted on, near where the cable comes through. I wanted the zones thoughts on how much a good repair might cost. I'm co...

How many bar will it boost to.. Im curious too. This will run at a similar pressure to a fly's fart I'd have thought. The reason it won't work work is due to the difference between a fan and a compressor - a compressor is for compressing air (what we want here) and a fan moves air almost without co...

I guess it's different if you have an agreed value cover including the bits? No that was the strange thing - all de...

Swapped the heater valve for a nice new one, but forgot the correct position of the two cooling pipes from the engine bay! One runs from the head at the bulkhead end, the other runs along the length of the engine, which way round do they plug into the heater pipes? Facelift m20, cheers.
