hi, im getting water through the drivers side vent were the wiper arm is, how do i remove this vent to inspect? it runs down behind the clutch pedal into the footwell and makes quite a puddle, ive had to remove carpets and sounds a lot louder without. expect there is a little rust hole behind this v...

Might be ht leads mate, myn did same when damp and wet and I had a dodgy lead which arked, brought new set and fine so far

Carefully place a 5litre can of paint inside the car, any colour will do with a stick of dynamite and light the end, then quickly shut the door;)

when we have the snow spell a few weeks ago same happened to my m40 318i, now its warmer and above freezing i dont have the issue, dont know what does it, it'd be nice to know tho

I've got a f reg 318i. They've got an m40 engine, around 100bhp opposed to a 318is which has about 130bhp I think. Which spark plug?
I'm servicing my 318i m40 1989 at the moment and going to change spark plugs but am torn between ngk BCP6ES which is the champion alternative in the haynes book but in the ngk website and my local car spares they say their books say ZFR5F-11 and are £4.25 each! What do I do?

How did you find out it was an injector sticking mate? Think il be sending my injectors off, I have the exact same issue. Would a sticking injector cause another other symptoms?

Cheers for response. I've been over everything making sure I did everything up tight. Weekend I'm going to jack car up and inspect rear subframe bushes, if bad are they a bad job to do? I was driving doing about 80-90mph other day, on a track of course and my e30 felt quite unstable and didn't feel very safe, almost top heavy kind of feel, it's lowered 40mm on spax springs and all bushes etc look in good nick and good tyre treads. thanks for that, yeah i thought id get fronts out the way first because i didnt know if id be able to get the strut off and be left with uprake suspension lol
