Re: My Dolphin Grey Sport
Cheers guys, yep she's completely standard, even down to exhaust - I refuse to change it for a S/Steel one, it's taken ages finding all the little bits like: ciggie lighter, hazard switch, indicators, fogs etc etc. She does need a wheel refurb though, but just started a new job and have the typical ...

Re: eBay Windscreen Washer Valve
Hmmnn... That means that I'll then have to do something with the existing valve (as that will obviously still be blocking the system) I'll have to have a look tomorrow I can have a look at the car, just asked because ordered it even though I was away from the car with the intention of fitting as a d...

Okay, washers starts fooling themselves last week and not spraying any water out onto the screen... Somewhat mistakenly assumed it was the bottle and replaced them ('intensiv' system) with a replacement set off the bay, probably a good move regardless as they were in better condition etc and did hav...

Re: ABS Relay
Well, All done and dusted within 20 minutes, thanks for the help Brian and Dave Was a lot easier than even I though it would be opened the glovebox and didn't have to undo/release anything, my relay was clipped in right behind the metal tray so could see the stainless top when I undid it. Pulled the...

Re: ABS Relay
Cool, Nice one dude, sorry for the question, it was just confusion arising from the Wiki article. I'll have a proper go at getting it out tomorrow. The relay below the glovebox is the one with the stainless appearance isn't it. Should be the case (as another member said) of removing the top and sold...

ABS Relay
Hiya, I have a 1989 325i Sport, which currently has it's ABS light on, on the dash. I'm 99% convinced it's the relay, because the light stays on through cranking and starting. I've read the Wiki guide, but I'm unsure whether mine is of the 'earlier' or 'later' type. So on my 1989 where will the culp...

Sorry to jump on this, but seeing as your sorted mate... I have a 1989 (Tech 2 Sport) and have the same problem, the light stays solid through cranking and starting. Read in the Wiki page about earlier and later cars and their relevant relay locations - would mine be a later one I take it (being a T...

Re: Hi Water Getting In Boot????
Most likely culprit will be your rear arches dude, take the rear wheel off and have a good look around the inside of the arch. If there's any gap between the two skins inside the arch, water is being flung up by the wheels and forced into the boot. Now have a look inside the boot where the two metal...
