To be fair, I didn't set out for it to be a cats eye scraper. It just progressed, bought as a real nice low mile 2 door non sunroof chromie, then a m52 converted sleeper. then a lowered style 32 dragger, now, who knows. Its also just my "toy" car. I have a new shape transit as a daily and a VR6 as a...

Re:

Could do with having some springs fitted to it, but apart from that I can't see a lot wrong with this! If the arches are widened in the way I think they are, then it's very cleverly done, with the body 'lines' flowing nicely around the car. It does require some stronger rear springs and the fronts ...

Paint time. So much choice!!!

I'm about ready to tidy the outer body paint on my e30. It's a pre facelift 2 door non sunroof chromy In Dolphin grey. I've always said I will keep it that colour as it does look good. Now the time has come though, I find myself looking at everything, I'm loving the white, with red/blue stripes If y...

Re: 316 M52 fuel gauge incorrect readiing

Just to let you know, your info was correct.

I have removed the fuel gauge from my old clocks and swapped it with the set from a later car with the larger fuel tank and is now reading correct and working fine.

Thanks

That looks a bit too low for my liking. Does it not rub the arches ? http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=230669 Link here to arch work build. And in keeping with the thread, ive also added a sony bluetooth/usb/aux head unit as it still had its original "pull out" tape pl...

Excellent, Thanks guys. I still have my old set of clocks. Ive added an M52 engine, M3 Brakes, suspension, arms etc, E36 rack conversion so if i choose to can drive economically but that rarely happens as i just love the sound.

Finally, as of yesterday, got my BBS side skirts on, again rattle canned until outer paint is done, albeit needing a little work around the arches where theyve been widened. Pretty happy with it so far, appreciate not to everyones taste but i love it. Much fun.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...

Alignment done and outer arches sealed for now with a rattle can until weather gets a little better and funds allow the final paintwork. Does not touch anywhere front or rear and considering the height (or lack of it) is still a pretty good ride. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/themills2002uk...
