Re: Kidney removal?
They have the same top clips as the kidney, undo them.
There is also a small philips head screw in the bottom outside corner of each grill that needs to be removed.

Re: ANYONE BOUGHT A SPORT FROM IRELAND?
It's true, generally registered Irish cars will be more expensive than the UK as we have to pay Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) on importing the car, which is 28% of the open market sale value (usually picked out of their ass). Sports in particular got hit big time with them costing €2,000 on VRT a...

Re:
Surprised that nobody has mentioned it, but have you priced a 318is for insurance? Better performance wise than a 320, more reliable, more economical and come better spec'd as standard. Fair enough, they are a 4 pot engine, but they are a nic little revy engine that takes a bit of abuse (unlike the ...

It's probably not worth shipping them over to you if you are. Looking for €500 for them. They have not had tyres fitted to them yet.

Re: Changing from Tech 2 body kit to Tech 1
It's a rust free shell. It was checked on a two poster ramp before buying it. I'll take you up on your bet... Has been given a good look around on a few occasions after that also. No rust at all, just a flattened section on the sill lip where some donkey jacked it in the wrong place. The body kit is...

Re: Changing from Tech 2 body kit to Tech 1
Will get caught with the wings alright. Surely the holes in the sills will line up with the tech 1 sills, so shouldn't be any issue. Will need to change the front valance, so all holes will line up. Rear valance should be covered up with the tech 1 trim so should be easy enough to hide. Is there a d...

Re: Changing from Tech 2 body kit to Tech 1
I should be able to get the front valance also. Bumpers aren't in the best of knick on the tech 1. What holes will there be after the tech 2? The tech 2 kit clips into where the door strip is on the tech 1. What other ones will there be? I thought that any other ones would be on the sill that would ...

Changing from Tech 2 body kit to Tech 1
Am looking into fitting a tech 1 kit to my 1991 318is. There is already a tech 2 kit on it but I prefer the old school look of the tech 1. Has anyone done this before? If so where will I have problems with it? I presume that the valances and arches will have differences between the early and late mo...

Re: 17s or 18s
16" low and wide 8) Agreed, in my opinion anything over 16s look silly on an E30, unless your car warrants having huge brakes. I agree... Aside from the looks, they handle like muck with 17's also. 15's or 16's are the best imo. Had 17's before, fitted 14's and it felt like a new car. Will never go...

Re:
Stan, you're saying that your car understeers with the power on and tightens up the line when you back off? Pretty much. I don't lose traction on the front or anything (far from it). It feels like the rear wheels are locked so much (when accelerating) that it is pushing the car straight on. It even...

Ahaaaa...!!! This is what I've been looking for. Recently I've fitted a Kazz 1.5 way unit to my 318is. What I was not ready for was the way it'd handle with it installed. Ask the garage what they are doing. We wouldn't be able to tell you exactly.
They should inform you how much it's being stripped.

Best Diff Ratio for a 325i Track Car
Would it be better for track use to put a 4.1 ratio diff into a 325 rather than the 3.76 ratio that is in it? To my knowledge, the 4.1 would have better accaleration but a lower top end speed which would suit a track car more, i think.... You rarely break 100mph+ on a track so the final top end spee...
