Found myself a E46 purple tag steering rack, also ordered all the conversion pipes, engine mounts & steering shaft from Danthe. Hopefully sort a couple of E34 steering UJs too... The rough running, I'm putting down to all the power steering fluid that has been splashed all over the engine from the f...

MOT issues... 325i
Been away from the zone for a while, mainly because the car has been working 100%. Took it for MOT this morning & found out my power steering rack has shat itself & is leaking fluid everywhere. What is the best option for upgrading & what is required to do the job. Secondly the car has started runni...

Re: H&R Cup Suspension upgrade
I have H&R Cup 60/40 on my Tech 1. I think it is a good suspension upgrade for track use. I use it on the road and it performs well when I go for it. It corners pretty flat but has enough give if you hit bumps or in your case clip curbs. The car also doesn't lurch under hard braking. Consider renew...

Nothing wrong with a Bosch battery, get a S5 & you'll still have enough change for a decent amount of petrol.

M50 manifold swap, rough idle...
Hi Guys Just completed the m50 manifold swap on my e36 328i. Went & started the car, but it seems to have a really low idle & feels like its missing. Generally behaving like a pig. I will double check all vacuum connections etc shortly, but if I find all is ok, will this issue iron itself out eventu...

Re: M50 manifold injector query...
typically the injectors get stuck in both the manifold and fuel rail due to the tight fit of the o rings, i prefer to leave them in the rail, and remove the whole lot from the manifold by spraying the base of the injectors with wd40 and wriggling them around, that usually breaks the seal that forms...

M50 manifold injector query...
I'm currently doing the M50 manifold swap on my E36 328i. I have got the manifold loose, but the injectors are still in place. Should the injectors be separated individually from the rail or should they just be pulled out from the manifold? Obviously I don't want to break anything & give myself a lo...

Re: Rear tyre rubbing issue
The Et13 Mims will be 11mm closer to the arch compared to the standard et24 15" BBS. I don't know if 11mm may be enough to cause a rub on a lowered car. 15" BBS back on, went for a quick spin, happy to report that all is well. I think 50 profile tyres instead of 55, maybe a better option for the 15...
