lol, some mixed opinions appearing.

barx325i...that is the standard splitter isnt it? i fancied painting the mirror bases black maybe not the whole mirror though.

I prefer the wheels as they were originally.
to be honest mate they were in a right state the pic doesnt really show off how bad they were, it was mainly done to tidy them up a bit until i can afford some borbet bs.............................................one day :D

So i bought this 318is about a year ago now, so far ive, de-stickered it de-spoilered it de-sideskirted it de-eyebrowed it de chromed the wheels on it de- black kidney grilled it de-mudflapped it and when ive got some money i might actually stop taking things off and put something on or in it winkey...

Ah i see how the inspection light works now cheers Brianmooore, i wasnt sure if it was triggered by the mileage. well the timing chain is original as told by previous owner so im sure it could do with changing.

Basically my 318is has shown the inspection light and little clock these have light up in orange/red just above the service countdown lights. secure the steering wheel
they did secure the steering wheel but i thought tracking should be adjusted equally at both sides of the car not just all on one side?

the steering wheel has never been this out of line?

hard work today, the arms went straight on no problem but pushing them bushes on was a pain in the ar5e to say the least. ended up with a piece of wood and a ratchet strap to get them on but bloody hell it took a few hours, with this and the brake pipe sorted i went and got the re test and then onto...

just an update, got the bottom arms both off today (laying on the floor in the rain) managed to get the right bushes aswell and also my money back on the wrong ones. just a quick question....the new m3 bushes i have pressed into my "cups" i have been told these just then slide onto the bottom arms? ...

i should think the wipers will be down to the motor being dirty and needing a refurb, although saying that i dont see why they are so eager to clear the screen even when switched off? sorry i cant be more help but i would definetly whip the motor out its bound to be full of crud, there is a guide on...

wind a nut onto the towing eye as far as it will go, grind off the "hoop/eye" then weld the end of the thread to the top of the nut??

Half this price from BMW! Note that the bushes come as a pair - you only have to buy "one". After you have done this work, the front tracking will need checking and adjusting, whether you need M3 bushes or not. fluffs sake, er well i got them now and i was told they were 26 pound each from BMW but ...

oh yeah just another quick question, the rear bushes on the bottom arms..ive bought m3 ones although i was told in the parts places i went to that they are the same as my standard 318is ones?? they were about fifty quid for both have i been sold e30 m3 ones or not? please.

Thanks for the advice guys, sorted the brake pipe today wasnt too bad really, now just the bottom arms to replace these are on order from GSF and should be here tomorrow.

Hello, Ive been thinking about taking the mudflaps, sideskirts, and rear spoiler off of my car i also want to lower it a bit more, is it too much to ask for someone to shop it so i decide whether to go ahead, sils would be black by the way. if this is possible for someone to do i would appreciate it...

Hello,
my 318is will only blow warm air onto the windscreen as soon as i slide the levers over to face or feet it turns cold, the levers feel connected and as though they are operating.... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Brian28. Interesting point and i can assure you my driving is fine and i know what all the pedals do all four of them lol. (just keeping things light hearted its christmas) however im afraid luck does come into it. No matter how good a driver you are you cant rely on other drivers being so competent...
