Its the other way round, 60/40 is 60 on the front and 40 for the rear.

How to test an AFM?

How do i test an air flow meter off the car? i vaguely remember the haynes manual says to get a multimeter on two pins and open the flap slowly and the resistance should go up (or down) slowly.

Is this correct?

Engine is a M20 2.5 1989

M-tech 2 lower valance removal help!!

Right,im going to remove a tech 2 kit off a breaker tomorrow, i know how to remove the skirts,pods & bumpers but how is the front valance held on? It doesnt matter if any clips break as i will be using a new set when it goes on my car! can it just be 'popped' off the clips or does anything need unsc...

let me get this right(breaking clips wont be a problem)

Pods: they just pop off (pulled)

skirts: undo screws up top,then pop them off the clips at the bottom.

or am i way off :o:

Theres a guy who lives close to me breaking an E30 with genuine skirts/pods,

how do i remove them?

do the pods pop off?

are there any hidden screws?

Ive decided to go down the 24valve route! im considerering an M52/b28 BUT,is there an issue with the alloy block? i heard if the head gasket goes its scrap, also what is the nikasil issue?was there a recall at bmw? apart from expence of the E36 doner is this the only bad point of the project? Thanks...

I dont like the classifieds being divided up into sub catergorys like interior, engine, wheels etc. What if you breaking a car? posting 10 differents ads for one car is not ideal. And what happened to the photogallery and more importantly the threads from it?! Agreed I'm afraid. Much prefer the old...

right ive disconnected the plugs and it works how i want it to,
problem now is the check control panel is saying ive got a bulb blown,
how can i rectify this?

Ive voted M50 because the M30 isnt likely to be producing the 218 bhp like when it was new and wouldnt the M50 be lighter ? what is the weight difference between the two? also if the two engines were from roughly the same year (91) they will have both lost power :? plus ive read the M30 is tougher ...

when the ignition is off and side lights on it just lights the little half moons in the headlights,when the ignition is on it lights the dipped beam(dimmer) aswell as the half moon, is there a relay/resistor i can disconnect so when the ignition is on my side lights lit are just the halfmoons and no...
