No garage... Next best thing?

Unfortunately I don't have a garage to keep my E30 in. Whats the next best option? Can anyone recommend a decent car cover? Would this be half decent or should I look into investing a little more? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_19820...

Re: Opinions on this...

Unfortunately I would have to put up with a 1.6 for now due to insurance. It does look well looked after and with only two owners its a plus. Eventually I would hope to get round to an engine conversion so am looking for a solid shell with a good history. I just really can't make my mind up about th...

The bigger is the 385. Not as rare as the 370.

Wanted - M-Tech 1 Steering Wheel

Seeing as the Wanted section isn't working I thought I'd post here.

I'm after the 370mm diameter version of the E30 M-Tech 1 Steering Wheel.

Must be in good condition with no wear and tear.

Paypal ready. PM me a photo and a price. Cheers.

Does anyone have a photo of these on a car?

Can't really see what they look like because of the flash either.

Also, are they genuine BMW or aftermarket?

Re: Usual story - Another cracked dashboard..

Mine has torn above the glovebox. I think this is where most of them crack due to heat.

Magpie, how much would you be able to supply and fit it for?

Usual story - Another cracked dashboard..

Unfortunately mine is another of the E30's with a cracked dash which is completely letting down the interior. Does anyone have a spare uncracked dash that they could fit for me? I can travel with cash depending on location. I can also pass tools and make a good brew, just not too confident on doing ...

Re: Detailers in the Berkshire area?

Would you be able to take a look and give me a quote? I'm at RG1.

The car has been well looked after and is in good nick. Its just a shame they didn't use a sheepskin mit in the 80's!
I think most of the swirls would come out with some light machine polishing but I'm no expert.

Detailers in the Berkshire area?

Just bought myself a 316 E30 and the paintwork has a fair few swirls, dinks and scuffs.

Does anyone know of any cheap detailers in the Berkshire area that can carry out paint correction, dent removal and the like.

Any contacts would be appreciated.
