no matter how i fit it the pressure plate fingers will hit the friction plate

it all lines up fine but no matter what way you have the friction plate thing it just catchs on the fly wheel bolts. the splines are taperd at one side like the orignal one to make gettin the gearbox on easyer even with that side on the outside its still hits the bolts

no matter what way round i have the friction plate it wont sit flush an catchs the fly wheel bolts

well today i started to change clutch in my g plate 325i after the release bearing faild.... i orderd an LUK clutch it came an when ive come to fit it it wont due to the friction plate been diffrent :( my question is. is this clutch for 325 an i just have a strange flywheel on as i gave the reg to t...

i saw a picture of an american e30 few months back an it was same size but the recess in the middle was smaller to fit there smaller plates ill try to find the picture, thanks for lookin tho

oh yeah for a 89 coupe

right first of all im not fully sure thats the proper name but im after the the plastic trim under the rear number plate but the U.S spec one i think it is thats shorter im after the part number for it if its still avalible

right so how do i even go about sortin this out first of all do i have clocks out to check the bulb? then is it a case fo checkin all the abs sensors for broken rings an wires? or is there a common problem i should check first?

id does have abs yes but i assumed it didnt work as it locked up under hard breakin

manual seems to mention stuff about it been for diesels :s

this is what is why im a bit worried it comes one everyday when i turn ignition on then goes off once started but came on while i was goin down M1 on way home from work i wasent doing anything differnt to normal an then it came on again when i went to shops later on

well the light thats comin on is lightin up after about 2-3 mins of drivin were before it used to just come on when i turned ignition on then went off once i started the car

thats awful mpg i managed to get 187miles to 30 quid last weekend in a 325

im gona try to source a head but they seem to be over 200 quid its a little annoyin when ben used to vw 16v engine an can pick a head up for 20-30 quid

this seems to be the problem do ya rekon i can get this skimmed out

right well i got home from work an took head off to find what looks like a corroded head

its gone between the water jacket an the cylinder 5 but i still not 100% sure why it went all mayo in oil as dint seem to be any place it looked liek it was mixin

mine is losein 3 pints of water to 35 miles so mine int gona last that long

just to add the car now has mayo and doesnt overheat

right 4 days ago my coolent light came on so i topped it up. a day later the light came on again.... so i thort ok this could be somert bad or an air lock so topped up again an within 100 miles it was back on so topped it up again an took more notice to stuff liek a hissin from the water fillin cap ...
