M42 Stroker conversion

Anyone interested in doing an M42 stroker conversion? I've got all the bits needed to do it, I'm gonna put it all on eBay as I'm leaving the country in 10 days and it needs to go. Just thought I'd enquire in this section to gauge interest, as I haven't yet got pictures of it all to start a 'for sale...

I take it you spoke to Lee then Barry? Proper nice guy he is, he's only worked with us for a couple of months, he was a Cooper's victim before, like myself!

Where do you work now?

I was looking through all the old catalogues the other day, there's some interesting stuff in there

A hand gun under the passenger seat of a car that came to a place I used to work at. The old bill were waiting for him as he drove away from our dealership, but as far as I know, no-one in the entire building called the police.... Dodgy!!

To be honest, the probably took the coolant change interval away because they knew we'd be taking them apart so often anyway and putting new coolant in it each time!

The microswitch in the boot handle strip is broken. Underneath the black rubbery pad you push in to open the boot is a level and a microswitch and its the switch thats broken. You have 2 choices... I wouldnt say its that important to spend ages messing around with it. Take the bottom rad hose off and most of the coolant will empty out. when you put the new stuff in, it will circulate when bleeding it and when driving, then if you wanted you could do another coolant change IIRC after 2004 it st...

sounds to me like it could be a throttle position switch fault or maybe an air-mass meter fault.

If you hold the throttle open gently whilst starting it, will it start and then run? If so, check if it dies when the throttle is shut off

Racth, you're overloading the battery. The battery in yours is probably an 80 or 90Ah battery, with 570CCA. For all the things you've retrofitted, regardless of doing them uber-properly, there is a much greater demand for power, which the battery simply cannot provide. If possible, go for 100 or 110...
