Re: Bilstein B6, B8 or MTEC
If you are going to be using anything above and beyond a bilstein b4 expect the ride to get harsher than your used to. A fresh shock will tighten up the car no end though as the originals will have sagged See now that's interesting. Bilstein bill the B6 Sport as damper for people that want to retai...

Re:
Compared to the M20 it's a holograph of an engine. Holograph ???? Do you know what a holograph is ? Do you know what a hologrpah is. The M42 is so hi-tech, that it exists as mere refractions of light, only showing enough hollow form to bewilder the mortals who gaze this futuristic feat of en...

Re:
I'd take the 320i SE over the 318is every time. There are bargains out there at the moment if you're lucky ( Alex ) but a lot of 318is have been caned to within an inch of their lives - whereas a 320i SE would probably appeal more to shall we say the more mature driver. Condition wise pound for pou...

Re:
320 ftw!! with the option of chucking an engine that the i.s could never match... you would be a fool not to! and please dont listen to the remarks about the i.s's handling... give me a b25 with bilstein+eibach's and day of the week. Do this only if you still stand in awe of steam engines and ponie...

Anyone play?
Post your Mario Kart race license numbers up so we can race online?
There's a Kart that looks like an E30 too!

Re: new interior in my alpina
Can't remember - but the guy seemed to demand respect as if he was some kind of uber high Alpina guru.
Then he saw my mighty 318iS and humbled himself quicksmart.

Ha!
Not bad.
Car park. They had two C2's in very good nick there and 1 was as Barry described, bonnet off with and no cylinder head.

I've seen 2 in the same state but it was in Fulham not Earl's Court?bss325i wrote:I remember when the Alpina in question was sitting in a lock up near Earls Court with no cylinder head and rusty rear arches!
A sort of auto-garage tucked in a carp park run by an asian dude?

Re: Alpina Cabriolet - light refurbishment starts
Ha! That was sorted long ago.
Why are you selling?
I am into C2's but dunno about that red leather. It's kinda cool but a bit too gentlemen's club Winchester chair for me.
I asked because a friend of mine is after a posh E30 Cabrio of some sort - this could be it.

Re: new interior in my alpina
Whats wrong with you guys, its not like its the last Alpina in existance. Besides Alpina is a tuning company, they just took a 325i added an eta block + all the Alpina branded stuff you can squeeze on the car. I like it and i think anything that tastfully improves on the original E30 is okay in my ...

Re: new interior in my alpina
Seriously wrong in any E30 let alone an Alpina.
No point having a C2 if you're going to change it all.
At least it's easy to change back to normal.
