Is it an m20 gearbox. If so the shorter rod from a 325 would prob fit
So is this the g/box number to tell which box it is or is it stamped elsewhere?

Is this an e36 air on radiator in my M52 conversion (it's got a leak so going to do a straight replacement)

Re: Gear Stick wobble- Cheap Fix
Thanks Brian,
Do parts 2 and 7 wear as well?
And what about the nylon bush at the base of the shifter.....would that be a separate part or would I need a whole replacement shifter ( trying to do all the parts to the job at once!)

Came across this on another website.
Thought it might be useful on here. Sorry if it's a repost.
If it isn't, perhaps might be worth making it a sticky somewhere?

Tyre suggestion please for M52B28 road car on a track day
Looking at taking my fairly standard M52B28 on a track day. Will be running it on 15 inch BBS alloys and want some suggestions as to what tyres I should run on. I used to run a stripped out E30 on Toyo R888s but that weighed less than 1000 kg and I'm guessing a standard road car is more like 1250 kg...

Re: viscous fan clarification
if the engine is cold, the fan is not really driven, hence you can stop it, and as it heats up, the coupling engages, driving the fan. If it runs all the time due to being faulty, you will have an engine that never reaches temp, it noisy and uses a ton of fuel. For the record, V8 discos also have o...

Re: viscous fan clarification
Have you done the "newspaper" test when its cold ? Start the engine, and then gently try to stop the fan blades turning with a loosely rolled up newspaper. When the engine is cold you should be able to easily stop the fan. If it shreds the newspaper when run from cold your viscous is fooked. If it ...

Re: Easy and chep solution for improving 325 engine performa
how did you go about removing the inner skin lining from the boot lid (i was thinking of doing this and to the bonnet too)
did you attack the underside structure with an angle grinder or did you try and do it neatly and hacksaw through all the mounting points where the frame meets the skin?

all the leads are like that, so i kinda figured there might have been a problem with the last batch of spark plugs. didn't want to to use the old plug ends in new plugs, Ranchero, as i figured i would not get a nice snug fit. woodscrew and long/needle nose pliers could do the trick....come to think ...
