Re: Electrical Fiasco Masacre Everything Obliterated
Thanks, i'll check the earth connections. I purchased a new battery and that seemed to help a bit, the other one was new; however, it was rubbish. When it dies the lights go out and weird electrical things happen. My rev counter started working the opposite way and the dash light warning sings come ...

Electrical Fiasco Masacre Everything Obliterated
Okay...so maybe it's not quite that bad I've been having trouble with my car stalling. The dash lights will sometimes come on for no reason or the "check" light will just start flashing. The heater is sometimes not working well and then all of a sudden it works. It's been cold here and when I'm in t...

Re: help spraying my grills satin black ?
wait wait...so you went for satin because you wanted shine?
Maybe it's only in the states, but we like satin because it's not shiny, more of an aggressive appearance. I think it relates to the stealth bomber look.

Re:
I work at a hardware store (going to college in America) and one thing you could try is to "tap" the pucks. A tap basically threads a hole to put a bolt in. After that you could use some neoprene washers and "thread lock" to keep it tight and silent.

Re: New member, restoring
Thanks Nay C and all! I've looked up a lot about the different specs on Euro/Amer models and it seems that the trim is the only main difference. There are also a few models in Europe that are not available here such as the Italian e30. (they didn't get the M3 though, Ha!) I'm looking mainly for the ...

Re: New member, restoring
I really love the Mtech 1 kits and they don't need very much modification so that would be great, I'm not sure on the prices and how they compare to the regular bumpers. Most people say that buying them from overseas and shipping is just as expensive as buying them here because they are so rare. Tha...

Re: New member, restoring
I've seen those online and they look alright but there really is a big difference between the us and international style. besides, after you tuck the bumpers you loose any protection you might have had in a regular crash. I've heard of horror stories where accidental touch at 5-10mph ruins radiator ...

Hello! I've just bought a 1987 325i and I'm trying to update it a bit. you see, I'm living in America where they have the aesthetic ability of giraffes and have for some reason stuck huge ugly metal bumpers on the car. If you know an online site or someone that has them please help me out! I've lear...
