Re: m42 gearbox

Main bit is different gearbox ratio, e36 use around the 3.45 area.
Not sure on exact lengths between e36 and e30 iS gearboxes.
If you use the e36 gearbox the compact prop and small case diff would work
Easiest option is m42/40 clutch m40 gearbox m40 prop and 3.91/4.10 diff all easily avalible.

Re: M42 zf gearbox change help

Both great hills, Crackington has a nice tricky clay area that is not natural to the area and strangely gets wet on a dry day.

Great set of headers, I've got a compleat system for my m52. Yet to finish but can't wait. I've not got the rest out of the box. I think I payed £1500, I've had them the last 3 years. http://i979.photobucket.com/albums/ae277/copey_photos/D617JEL/9856c765.jpg http://i979.photobucket.com/albums/ae277/...

Before Xmas I was down Faulkner's place and we tested my standard spring. And was talking about making up a set of progressive rate springs for my off road e30. Re: Boot lock jammed - cant open boot

if you have a ski hatch get in there with a meter piece of wooden dowl and tape a 10 mm spanner on and undo the latch that is atached to the car side, it will allow you to open it then figure out what the problem is.
