What if I got one with the wrong ratio??

Did bmw make a LSD for the 320i or is it just a case of finding a 325i lsd and strapping it on.

If i fitted a 325i LSD would I feel the difference under normal driving conditions.

Does anyone know whether BMW do a genuine front clear lense kit for the E30 cab,I remember having them on my old E30 M3 but can not for the life of me remember where I got them,

does anyone have a close-up picture of the throttle assembly for a 1988 320i cab please,I have a list of the parts off the ETK disc but it does not show a very detailed pic,I need to know which bits I am missing,

Can anyone tell me if the pipe circled in the picture is a breather pipe or does it go somewhere else the car has just recently been idling like a dog so i have changed the blue temp sensor but can't remember if this pipe went to anything it sucks quite a bit of air. I have a 316i E30 1991, when i pull off there is a starnge noise as if one of the belts is slipping I have tightened up the fan belt but it does not make any difference has anyone come across this problem before, or do I just replace all belts and hope it cures it. Could it be bearings in the altern...

No it doesn't use any oil, does anyone have a part number for the blue temp sensor there are 2 on the OEM and i don't know which one it is.

It works out at 19miles to the gallon which I think is a bit low my m8s 330 cab does an average of 26 miles per gallon and most of those miles are around town.

Would it only leak with the car running or all the time.

I have a 1991 e30 316i and i get about 100miles from £20 worth of fuel. What things can i do to improve fuel consumption, if any, or is it just because of the age of the car. My E36 318 is brilliant on fuel and I thought that my E30 would be just as good.

I bought a rear screen for my E36 conv it is a plastic screen cost me £230 for the main dealer

While we are on the subject does anyone know of anywhere in the north west of England where my mate could get a new roof fitted for his E30 320i conv, without breaking the bank.

lads I've split the nut and got it off but thanks for the advice
