Might be worth keeping it up out of the actual spare wheel hole, if you have the misforture to crash the car ass first into something solid there's not a lot of room for the wheel well to deform without squeezing and bursting a fuel cell. Anywhere on the boot floor should be safe enough though. How...

stappin i'm only refering to the rear here but from what i can see of it the bearing slots into the trailing arm and is stopped by a 2 or 3mm lip to stop it falling out the back. So after a few tight corners the wheel would move in from it's centerline as the bearing slid through the hole, or worse...

The original post was only refering to the rear stappin not a good idea as the wheel has the potential to fall off  jmc330i I'm not changing to 5 stud, but while i've got it in pieces i was just looking to see what can be changed if i choose to uprate the brakes at some point and figured that ...

Re: Starter Motor just clicks
I'm not a happy man! After my battery dying on me the other day, then my idle problems, i get in the car this morning and it's totally dead. For some reason, the second-hand battery i put in there has drained overnight. Anyway - that's another issue i have to sort, but my question here relates to t...

A coilover will fit into the original fixings fine, I am using a modified top mount which has all the rubber taken out and a rose joint put in. This is for tarmac use, guess for a rally car substantial strengthening will be needed Are you talking about front or rear? If your on about rear do you ha...

I used 12" springs and found they are too long so the adjusters are at full extent! I used 280lb springs as i said they are too hard! think 200s 6 or 8" would have been a better choice. Also im using OE top mounts 8) How much ride height do the 12" springs give you? Remembering I'm after a high car...

I'm placing an order with www.raldes.co.uk for all 4 corners (Ԛ£31 each!) so this should be an interestin project gonna go for 250lb 12" springs (Ԛ£14 a corner) on the front to kick off with might require a bit of pretensioning but what the hell.
