fitting remote central locking????
i am thinkin of fitting a remote cental locking kit on my 316. the car has central locking already so i have no need to fit the locking solinoids that come with the kit. does anyone know the best place to connect the locking and unlocking signal wires? do i need to run wires all the way from the rem...

hello there its been a while since iv posted on here due to selling the 320 but i am now back in the fold. i have just picked up a 1990 316 3door in calipso red. iv got it home and had a look around it and its not to bad condition but i do have something that needs sorting. when running it struggles...

I'm an mot tester and in all fairness all of the things mentioned are part of the correct test procedure. Obviously I carnt comment on the force used with the bar on ur back bushes as this is down to the testers own discretion.

I have a 1987 320i (chrome bumper model). A few months ago the old exhaust gave up the ghost, i have since brought a second hand standard full system from what im told is a 320. The new system is twin pipe all the way through (my old system is single pipe) and when i tried to fit it nothing lined up...

ive got some plugs to go in it just lookin for some sencible priced leads. strugglin due to the fact its the model that has the dizzy down the side of the inlet manifold not on the end of the cam.

car feels under powered at low revs
iv got an 87' 320i and it seems quiet hessitant when driving low down in the revs. once you have the revs up it pulls fine, it doesnt seem to be missing and runs fine. i know they arnt the fastest of things anyway but there is definatly a lack of power. any ideas?

id say theres only bout 10mm.
i need to get some hangers first really cuz my old box was oval so the old ones ar totally different. just need the snow to go now so i can have a good look without gettin soaked and gettin frost bite.

It might be worth trying on of your loal tyres/exhust place. Not Kwik Fit. Try the the one at the bottom of Netherton High Street. im currently in the process of fitting a new exhaust (brought from leeparkes thanks) i knew the exhaust was different as my original system was a single pipe from the centre box to the back box then a single exit. the exhaust i have to fit is a twin pipe and the odd thing is it has a round back box ...

best place to get a back box from (on a budget)
Im in the need of a new rear section of my exhaust on my chrome bumper 320. Any suggestions of where to get one from or if any one has anything for sale. Im in the Dudley area (west midlands) Only problem is im short of cash at the moment but need to sort it soon before i go deaf. Thanks for any help.

just wandering if all the leads on a 6 cyl are the same?
mine has the dizzy mounted on the side of the block by the inlet manifold not the end of the cam.
would i be able to use leads from a later model?

i had a simalar problem on my rover the alternator just wasnt charging enough to cope with a high load ie lights stereo heater etc. check the conections and the charge rate while running.

i think this is the part ur after there is a little plastic box with connections on the back that fits into the hole that's circled.
