you should always mark the propshaft before you split it mate that means it is still balanced,what do you mean the bearing is off centre The bearing is slightly off centre of the middle of the carrier when u buy it. Yeh mark the propshaft etc before removing it an then fit same place, so much easie...

My advise is to definatly get them tyres off! You really need some with a lower profile than 50. And with a slight stretch too would really help

This is the first time iv seen it like this. I REALLY liked it before when it was red all over with the M5 alloys... but now it looks like pimp my ride cheese! Im definatly not liking it

Sounds like the Prop shaft doughnut coupling thing?, mines gone, it was intermitent like you say but then just got worse an worse over the last month, iv stopped driving it now fixing her next weekend. Could anyone tell me how difficult a job its going to be? and whats involved?
