iv got a m30 box , i just dont have a clutch or prop for it and the m10 box offers alot more room to be able to change the clutch without taking the engine out !!
s14 stuff , that m3 bits right? do you know what sort of ball park figure im looking at for a clutch and flywheel?

just done my conversion , the thread made the job a doddle, made up my own solid mounts and will be producing them for £75 a set ,solid and non solid versons for use with e30 rubbers , i was very impressed that there wasnt much vibration with solid mounts

im using a twin 2.25" 500x300 powerflow box with 2.25" pipes up the manifold , not too noisy but sounds nice

il have a look at the center bearing today , im unshure of the rotation as it was fitted to the manual prop when i brought it , should there be a rotationial arrow on it ? i was blaming the death on the fact its a drift car so gets alot of cluch kicking abuse ect. i have a pretty dead prop dounut/couplermagig on my e30 , it was in pretty much new condition when i did the manual convo 2 months ago , so to save the hassle of changing them every 2 months i was thinking about making a solid one up out of steel or ally , i cant decide if this is a good idea or not...

i decided that im going to change the box for the moment as a mate has just given me the right box, i just need the right flywheel with the trigger pickup on .... would tacking a small strip of steel to the flywheel suffice

cheers for the replys Don't even attempt to use the primitive early system! Fit the crank pulley, crank position sensor, engine loom, oil pressure switch and ECU from a facelift 320 or 325 with a 55 pin ECU. If you use the 320 ECU, you ill need to fit a 325 chip to it. how hard would it be to do so ...

iv just started a manual conversion on my 87 325i ....... easy apart from it wont start ! the auto box had 2 sensors ,what seamed to be crank angle sensors on the starter motor side of the box i drilled the holes for them , put a trigger pick up onto the fly wheel but cant get it to spark i have bee...
