Hello, I've been trying to research and replace the speed sensor fitted to the back axle diff, no idea of a part number and can't make sense of the real OEM site, could you help?

Many thanks,
Steve.

Re: Prices please!

That's a good point, the garage gave me a slightly different pt. no. and said I would need 4 of the adjusters so I guess I only need 4?
I am just replacing the headlamp aim.

Re: Prices please!

Hi Jon, still rumbling on with this damn headlight aim control nonsense... think the garage is fed up with it too and have decided to convert it to manual control! (great!) However they have asked me to source the adjusting screws to make this work. It looks to me to be pt no : 63121385397 - 8 off P...

Re: Prices please!

Thank you once again Jon!
Will order those parts in due course!
Would you be able to give me a price (& pt no:) for the adjuster unit itself? The garage seem to think that the one I supplied is incorrect as it's not long enough....
Would appreciate the help!

Re: Prices please!

Many thanks for your reply John.
I am actually replacing the adjuster unit and will require the 63121386616 parts, though I will have to check how many are required as the quantity was marked with an 'X' prefix on the Real OEM site.

Re: Exhaust mounting for 325i touring 91'

Hi Brett Thanks for the link. The parts I'm after start from parts. 9 to 22 on the page describing the non CAT exhaust system, basically the whole bracket assembly just before the midsection of the exhaust. Is this possible? The first part 9: 18211178300 - part 22: 07119912501 Thanks for the informa...

Exhaust mounting for 325i touring 91'

Please help! I have recently replaced the centre and rear box on the above car but was unable to anchor the exhaust at the centre of the car as the mounting bracket has disintegrated. I have been to various parts suppliers to source this bracket but with no joy. It's mounted to the automatic gearbox...

Re: Genuine bmw battery prices?

Just replaced my e30 325i battery with a 70ah Varta battery from my local motor factors. Cost £68 and came with a 3yr warranty. I'm told these are one of the better quality named batteries out there, lets hope so! P.s It replaced a battery that I was told was recent when I bought the car 18 months a...

Re:

Cheers mike, Seems to run ok generally in any weather, except the other day when it had 4 adults in it with kit.

Evertime we hit a hill, even if the revs were pretty high it would kick down quite randomly. I`ve not owned the car that long so I can`t really tell if this is normal or not!

Automatic gearbox oil

Hello, I apologise if this sounds a little dumb, but is there a certain grade oil that I have to use for my gearbox. Its getting a little low. I own a 91` 325i, and have been a little concerned that the gearbox is also a little bit keen to `kick down` when loaded up is this normal? I`m not a quick d...

Re: Longlife exhaust systems....

Surely a lifetime warranty is such...as long as you keep the paperwork! The car is not lowered... yet! Would this make that much difference as they supposedly route the pipework to suit the vehicle. There should'nt be too much of the pipe sticking out underneath should there? I live just outside of ...

Longlife exhaust systems....

Hello, I`ve been looking up various exhaust systems recently as mine is on the way out, and have recently been quoted from a longlife dealer in berlkey for a full made to fit stainless system for under £300. This seemed quite a bit cheaper than i expected, can anyone vouch for these exhausts as I`ve...
