Hi , In process of doing restore of my old e30 Motorsport Cabrio, near side rear arch is rotten and I ordered inner and outer panels for this , Inner panel is fine but outer did not fit as arch was to high ?? I ordered another that has correct arch height but does not match at bumper as seems to be ...

I may be wrong but are these settings not to make sure your valves open the correct amount, So if hot and expanded if you set them same as cold your valve would be opened further than spec.

So your hot size is a larger gap so that when metal items expand the valv e only opens correct amount.

Where in UK is best place to source parts for Turbo mod, i.e. bigger injectors etc.

I can find these in US but shipping & import taxes make this to expensive.

I also had a 2 pence in my torch holder in the glove box that kept popping fuse, Cant remember if this was same fuse or not but it took me ages to work out why this blew at random, (depended on corner and how quick i took it)

Yes this is correct mine does have these extra supports but you will also see that your turrets have extra bits weilded in and sit at a differant angle from standard e30. I had these side by side it it was quiet noticable that the turrets seem to sit tilted further towards back. But again maybe this...

My car is a Motorsport Cabrio so maybe this is a cabby only mod ? , Although this is not what I was lead to believe.

My turrets have been chopped and moved by M-tech, Only just found this out as I have had major probs getting wheel alignment right.

I compared to another e30 and you can see these are cut and weilded with a greater rake towards back of car.

I will go get this checked again , I do drive other car (brand new A3) and it is smooth, But I used to be able to turn steering with one finger in the BM and I cant do that anymore. Maybe I didnt have my weetabix :-) I will go get it checked again as I dont think it is returning to centre after a co...

Tyres are all new although they they aint a great brand but I have used same tyres before and not had this problem.

I may try contact BMW on this as no one seems to know if they are same or diff top bearings.
