Hi
i need to replace the rear wheel bearings on my E30 1990
325i, have had a look round but the are a few different makes
the car gets quite a bit of use on track days can anyone
recommend a good make and place to get them from

Hi i did mine a few weeks ago and did use some heat on the bearing it came out ok with a little force,
but i would not get it to hot as it could warp the hub or arm

looking in the book bmw discs are 260 x 22mm the g60 discshongkongfuey wrote:would be intrested to know this too, also what size discs are they???
are 280 x 22mm, just not quite sure if they go straight on

larger brakes
Hi i have a 320i that i have used for track days and a couple of races, at the moment i have striped it down and i am puting a 2.5 engine in, i would like to put larger brakes on but not sure what would fit, does a e36 have larger brakes and would they fit on ok ? any advice would be great many thanks

Hi iam also doing the same my 320 is older it is a 1984 no abs the 325 engine & box is a 1989 with abs will it go in the same? Having the back of the car up when removing the engine does this mean the engine & box come out together? Also if i left the 320 back diff in would this give me more acccele...

Hi what is the difference between the low and high compression engineEarly high compression block will have a 25 6E prefix before the engine number, whereas later 1988-on facelift low compression will have 25 6K prefix.
