E30 Zone

iv seem cossie lumps up for 3-4 grand just for the engine it self when i was a ford man, before i went e30 that is,

i should think mine will be taxed on the road by then i should be gud to go mate..

well, im just in the process of geting a new unit as the old one got sold to developers, but u can see my tread *restoring my a reg e30 for my kind of work, also i work for an isurance approved major company who turn out 700 jobs a week, between 150 lads

keeps the bbs 15's on for now, she got a 60mm drop on bilstein shocks and springs, was looking at a set of borbet A rims if i keep it for summer

ye she got 12months mot on her now, i am scared tht i will regret selling it, might keep it now, depends how things go do need to get some use out of it. i want to flog it, then when i see it, i have big idea's again its one of them like!!

but its not half finished now its done like, well just waiting on one part to put the leg back in

for u guys who have viewed my topic, restoring my a reg e30 316, she mite have to go, the project is nearly complete, and am wondering when she's done if any zoners would want to give she a loving home, its had new wings, quarter repair panels welded in, respray in original colour, original bm boot ...

looks a solid project very similar to my own!!

i need a price for my 316 84 reg e30 on the top part of the suspension strut were the top bolt is for the damper on the p/s front there is a part with some bearings in, a black metal cup type part, sorry descripion not very clear, not to good with nthe mechanical side... cheers

i have a tech 1 skirt i have taken off the originally chrome bumper should this fit on then the original chrome bumper over the top i have had a right mear today getting it to fit? cheers

i would mate there min the oldewr nes, the reason for this littl eproject realy is the ow milage, 64k o cloc, with papes to prove

welcome mate, good luck with the project mines not to far away now bodywork wise, but i have an early m10 engine in mine, an a reg 83 plate with only 64k on the clock, with tickets to prove, im just tweaking that slightly, so good look with the transplant!!!!!!nkeep us posted

hey i need a picture and a little help, iv got tech one rear bumper on my chromey, but dont have the rubber ends stops, could n e one help me out who has a pair, or coulod some one supply me a picture so i know what im looking for, cuz i cant get the original chrome bumper end stops to sit in proper...

if u use a sikkons autowave system its water based, but they still provide u with a 2pack system for straight colours, and ici nexo auto colour do, bit of free plug for em there

i do know of an old 320 i think it is thats red and now its almost white its sat in the sun that long, oer in sunny stourport

no not always the case, straight colours like red, white yellow blue black, can be done in to-pack witch is a direct gloss finish to coats and it shines, where u can do straight colours in basecoat and laquer i find u get a better shine with no fading, i always do my straight clours in base a little...

look guys i started this thread and im from the land of brum! well dudley actually! and i dont mind sayin that there are some right shed e30s around by me, but i know my tech 1 project aint one of em!

let me know how u get on with them inners, iv just got all mine done now, and shes nearly ready for the road, just gotta sort a vacuum problem out suckin to much air!! mines unfortunatly not an original tech1 but do have full kit, rims, and interior so at a glace wont look to far out of place

if i put on the trailing arms off a 325, the hub with disk, and caliper would i have to use the brake pipes off a 325 or just renew the old ones? also would the hand brake cable have to be off a 325????? cheers
