e30 blower heater motor problam again????
hi i have a 1990 325i touring e30 about a month or 2 ago my blower stoped working so i got to it and it was just a little stiff so i greased it up with 3in1 oil and it runs fine it still do.But when its on speed 4 you can smell burning out of the vents then after a few seconds it cuts out it will wo...

hi ive got a 325i tourer which needed a bottom arm with the alloy arm got a price from bmw was £300 but my merchanic got and messured up the steal ones and they are exacatly the same but are only £50 from euro part so i had them fitted and its fine

i do he charge a about £20 hour and he had e30 cars in his youth when he was trainning and hes worked on mine he is good if you can gett it to norwich,norfolk regard scott

get a haynes manual it will be easyer with the electrical diagrams in the back they are around £18 from wilco/halfords ect ect regard scott

if it is cracked they int that exspence second hand of ebay or you can buy a recon on from gsf for around £600 with new valves/lifters but dont worry its common e30 problam let me know what you do regard scott

there are 2 tension nuts one at the back and one at the front undo them slip the belt of (take the earth of the battery FIRST)then undo the electric wires take the bar at the back out which got through the back of the alternator then it should come out then reverse every thing i said then it should ...

hi i had a leak coudnt find it any where untill my merchanic see some antifreeze stain on my bumper and it was my rad leaking slightly from the top of the core only when it bulit up a litle pressure but enough to see the water tank go down i started with some rad weld it worked then it found another...

i had the same problem it just stopped but i got to the motor and greased up the shaft to the bearing and it worked again its about 20min job if you need loction of the motor let me know and ill help regard scott

i had the same on my 325i touring but my rack was leaking from the seals so i changed it with a good second hand rack now its fine it was the joint in between the rack and sterring wheel when i put the rack on i cleaned it up and put some copperslip on it now its fine before you take it apart just t...

keep the e30 mate they are alot better built then the e36 as ive had 3 e30s 325i and only 2 e36 i always go back.Plus a e30 is a better track day car then the e36.

hi mate.ive had the same problam its the bearings getting rusty i put wd40 on mine and it went quite but now coming back brianmooore said use 3in1 oil it last longer and its about a 20min job.brianmooore top bloke

do these work ok after you clean them with carb cleaner.As mine do it evry now and then sittingin traffic it suddenly drops then settle again then it probably wont do it again for a couple of days.

brian i think you are right i did use wd40 which i think the heat is starting to make the same noise as last time on speed 1 it sound like its struggling on the rest at the moment are fine but im going to do it tomorow before its top again as its not a bad job to do if i cant get hold of any 3in1 oi...

hi everyone who helped me with my heater blower ive today got to the motor and it was just it little tight from the dirt and shit a bit of a clean up and it was sorted i have heat again noing this country we will have heat wave tomorow lol

hi everyone hope everyone had a good christmas any way ive had a fault at the wrong time of the year my heater blower has packed up and when you turn it on you hear a click just behind the dash and if the lights are on it dims the lights when it clicks but before it packed up it did make funny noise...
