Cheers dudes - Yeah new battery box with chassis leg sound sthe biz as its only the end 2" thats damaged - Apart from that the shell is a sgood as they get.

I need to fit a new rear panel as I have a donor shell which has had a bash and the D/S rear chassis leg has been squashed in about 1/2" and rear panel is badly mishaped. Yeah its official - re-shells the way ahead - trying to source one at the mo.... Mind you - big improvement on the welding front today - had the co2 turned up fully must've been about 7 bar - this was my main problem when I reduced it to say 3 bar immediate improvement, nice neat welds not dis-simil...

Yeah - West Coast Highlands - The ol' Sea Air doesn't do me any favours nor the neglect of the past 5 years. Scuttle

I have a new scuttle from BMW Germany with my VIN stamped. I don't suppose its legal to have that fitted to another shell though ?

Does anyone know of a good e30 Restorer ??

My 1990 325is is in dyre need of restoration, sills, Jacking points, scuttle, rear panel, Various inner wheel arch at rear etc. I have heard of a guy Chris Warburton e30 Specialist who does restorations but does anybody know of anyone else ?????
