think ill probably do the wiring myself depending on price, and probably will stick with the ews,

how much is fair for the parts of the e36 though?

any idea on a fair price?

how easy is it to disable the ews?

I know a local lad breaking a 1998 e36 2.8 im interested in buying the engine and conversion parts of him, and i have looked at the wiki but im afraid of missing something, as far as i can see i need, -engine with alternator, inlet, injectors, coils, -engine wiring loom -engine mounts -ecu -electric...

well there is four springs in this kit so I assume it is the correct one for discs,

Yea the is, I'll check the chain, but I can't figure out how it would snap, as o said was working fine then the next day nothing, the engine is definitely turning over just seems like it's turning over very quickly... so I don't think Its the starter,

Moved it last night up the drive everything perfect, went to start it this evening and it is just turning over very quickly... almost like there isn't any compression, it's a bit dark but i had a quick look and the plugs are all in place.

Any ideas?

I have went through 3 power steering pumps now in just over a year, each of them have a gradual decline, before sounding like a angle grinder.

The only thing I'm thinking is I am using the wrong fluid, red std oil.

Or can damage be caused by a belt being too tight?

are you sure the engine is cooked? as above , coolant may just need bled, visocus coupling, stuck thermostat. etc

i got the halfords 150 pc set a while back, havent broke anything yet, however the lifetime guarantee dosent guarantee idiots like me, lose half the sockets.

yes but none of them come with the adjuster or the expander

going to replace the rear discs, shoes and pads.

cant seem to find the little springs and adjusters that sit inside the disc anywhere?

anyone know who sells them?

that would be handy ^^ when i did mine i just lined every thing up with a tape and ruler, came out perfect, with a bit of pateince

i put an e36 rack in, made a fair difference, for the pricey sum of 99p

my bearing practically fell out when fitting, couldnt ask for handier

i went to fit a aftermarket alarm about 2 years ago, the alarm unit was dodgy and i got my money back, never bothered getting at it again,

everything has been fine since then and its only started recently, its intermittent, but i cant trust it leaving my keys in, with the ignition on,

inspection light? thats just a service light, give it a service and reset the light
