I have a couple of Schnitzer side skitrs here which are exactly the same but no front spoiler im afraid

I am sure David Isles has retired i think his son took over and was tuning vauxhalls for a while there is not a lot of information around on what they did with the M20s but they did go well Les Stannard was another one around at the same time and there is some of his conversions still on the go but ...

drill a hole every half inch or so and get some plug welds in there with your mig welder

should be more than strong enough

you will need a set of pullers and will need to clean up the part your pulling the bush over with some emery cloth then use some lubricant ..washing up liquid works

new boot seal or adjust the bootlid if its a bit high


you might want to clen out the drain holes in the pockets as well

ECP =euro car parts

the numbers are on the tumblers usually one ,two three,four you need to match the tumblers with positions on the barrel .i cant ever remember seeing a key number on the barrel if you have both locks out its easy money i am back in the UK in a couple of days and i will send you a pm with my number .y...

good write up Dave D explains it good

one thing he didnt mention is if you split the lock one section further up you dont have to mess with the mechanism and the little ball

spot on with the tumblers though

and thats a left hand door lock

Lock room at bmw is apparently a bit hopeless at the moment
i can understand that ...

just have to do it the way you are
its not hard just fiddly and time consuming

put some grease on the barrel when your building it .stops the little brass sleeves from falling out
