I used to do this on my 316,pull out choke a little,push the throttle pedal to squirt some fuel in and away you go. :)

My 323i is a pig in the wet,what would normally be the correct speed in the dry is not safe in the wet,many a hairy moment,just drive it in the dry now!

I had them on my daily Mondeo,fitted from new,they are good but very soft,only lasted 20K.

And i drive it like a grandad :) most of the time winkeye

Adi,nothing wrong with a rolling project,my 323i is like that,its a little rough around the edges but will soon be sorted out,these things take time.

My mate has been driving a v reg 1.8 mondeo the last week or so and its a right gutless peice of shite no fun what so ever, e30's are all about the fun factor and not for mondeo man :D I have both,the mondeo is perfect for everyday driving to work and back and for family days out,the E30 is my fun ...

I had the same engine in my E39,very capable for everyday use,plenty of poke even in the 5 so i would imagine in the E46 it is even better.

Imy,i bought mine from FAB direct breakers,i didnt like the quality of the ECP ones,they seemed a bit flimsy. If it has xenon's which mine did,you will have to get xenon glass as the plastic ones will melt 8O Its a nice easy job though,took about an hour to do mine front side and back. Hope that hel...

They are from a E39,i had them on my 528i.

They look good on the E28,much better to use a BMW wheel than some gash halfords tripe.

Plus if you get fed up with them you will be able to sell them on fairly easily.

Old car smell?

As i dont use my E30 much the interior really smells like an old car(i know it is!). Is there anything i could use to get rid of this,i realise it will never smell like new but it does stink a bit! I dont really do air freshners as they can smell a bit sickly. I cant be the only one who has this pro...

I have a moredoor 323i,mine is completely standard.

Most would prefer the 325i,or so it seems,which means there a re very few on the zone,being an early car most have rusted away.

The ultimate preface car for me,would love an Alpina,maybe one day.
The chrome really lifts the outside of the car,i can see why it has grown on you.

Adi,that will be stunning when its finished,Dolphin grey is one of the best colours of that period...totally un biased of course winkeye It looks to be mainly bodywork that needs doing,has it done many miles? Also the engines were changed,525i became 24v vanos equipped and 530i became a V8,not sure on others.

Wider grill and different bonnet are the big tell tale signs of the facelift,also body coloured sills and bumpers.
