had this on my e30 turned out to be the metal pipe on the tank that connects to the rubber pipe tanks are very expensive thats one of the reasons i sold my e30

check underneth where the main pipe connects to the tank might be leaking from there

not had tank out but yep it looks like thats whats happened looking underneth to remove the tank theres the hose and several bolts and presto out comes the tank is that right and obviously the sensor any thing ive missed?

Hi got a 91 316i petrol is leaking from the tank from the hose underneath behind a cross member tried to tighten clip but still dripping the tank looks ok but there is rust where the pipe,connects to the tank. is the tank knackered and if so how easy to replace help cos my misses is complaing of pet...

i had the same problem leads were tight but as mr mooore said give them a wiggle and they'll pop off no problems

coming home tonight in total darkness pouring rain my wipers decided to have a tantrum at 60mph drivers side rested on wing mirror when i pushed it back on to the screen the passengers side caught it underneth and pushed it back. limped home kissed the ground and proceded to tighten the locking nuts...

if memory serves me there is a bolt at the bottom of the pump (13mm) and loosen the bolt on the top of the pump its on a long bit of metal with a slot in it. get a long bar and pull towards you not too much or you'll overtighten the belt and cause more problems.,tighten nuts up bobs your uncle no mo...

my 91 316i's central locking is tempermental it locks ok on the drivers side but sometimes wont unlock the key wont turn in the lock,but if you unlock from the passengers side its fine any ideas please :D

was going to clean the spark plugs today as dont know the condition of them when i bought the car. its a 91 316i
but dont seem to have the correct spark plug socket :cheese: what size do i need to buy please.
