Ok I've took off all the nuts, and the manifold is now loose from the engine.... the only thing stopping me from removing it is the oil return pipe and I cant seem to work out how to get this part off?
Anyone got tips on removing the pipe from the manifold??
Thanks

Removing Intake Manifold
Are there any guides on how to remove the intake manifold on a m20b25. I don't have the workshop manual or anything for the car. I have searched on here but couldn't find anything that good.
Is there anything I need to be particularly aware of?
Cheers

Hi,
I require the inlet manifold gasket set for 1990 m20b25.
I also require the throttle housing gasket where it connects to the inlet.
Can you supply?
Thanks

Re: MOT after being off the road
It took a lot of fiddling to get the headlamp aim right, as the hydraulic adjuster mechanism had failed. So I took the car home as the garage was closing and had to take everything apart and free up the seized adjusters to adjust it manually.

Dam I was just about to have a go at doing this on my cab... thought it would be easy but then thought I'd check the zone first and looks like its not easy at all!?
Do I definitely need all those E36 parts then?

Spark Plug Gap Quick Question
Hi, I have been searching and found the best plugs for my 1990 M20 325i are NGK BPR6ES. The gap specified on these plugs I have read to be 0.9mm, however I have also read that the plug gap in this engine should be 0.8mm. Can anyone confirm? If I buy them do I need to adjust / check the plug gap? Whe...

Picked my car up this weekend from Jules after he had fitted an M20 325i engine into it in place of my 1.8 M40.
Done 300 miles in the car since picking it up and i'm very pleased with it.
He's done a great job and is a top bloke!
Recommended to everyone!
Cheers Jules!

MOT after being off the road
I have an MOT booked for Saturday, the car has been garaged off the road for a good few months... couple of things: 1. The battery is flat, I will have to jump start the car. If it does not start again at the MOT test station will this fail it? 2. Is there anything else I should do to ensure a pass ...

Re: M40 to M20 Conversion
Thats what I thought, being a heavier car than the coupe etc.
Will no doubt legally change it once I have had it one. May need to change to a more modification friendly insurer though.
Who have people found to be good insurers?
I'm with Admiral at the moment

Re: Spray bar advice needed
Im in York but thanks anyway. I agree £30 is cheap but I just want to give it a freshen up so I would rather clean it with some injector cleaner I have at home anyway. Are you going to replace the gasket or bolts? Is it just a case of unbolt rocker cover, remove, clean (or replace), put back together?
