Re: Brake wont bleed

The ABS system works, if I recall correctly, in a way so that when it senses a wheel skidding, and wants to "cut in" it blocks the fluid coming from the master cylinder and then pumps fluid around to the calipers by itshelf, once it senses all wheels are rotating again it opens up again. It's this b...

What about the diff bush and 2 rear subframe bushes in front of each rearwheel, have they been replaced? Otherwise that is a normal place for an E30 to wear out. Where I come from the MOT guys allways start at the rear subframe bushes, it's very easy for the trained eye to see if they're gone. (I do...

Re: BMW e30 throttle bodies

Another reason that S5? ITB's don't find their way onto M20's is that the port on the M20 is a circular shape cut at an angle which makes a tall rectangular shape, whilst the S50 ITB's have a flat rectangular shape. So any amount of grinding or adapter flange is not going to make the geometry align....

yes the Scorpion system for a 325i will fit your 320i. www.Fritsbits.co.uk also has a complete from the cylinderhead to the tailpipe stainless system. The mufflers are quite reasonably priced, manifold is not as cheap as the cheapest LHD's, but then it's probably better quality. LHD's also come more...

I should hate it, but there is a purpose with it and I've become a fan of a functional car over minter that can't stand a raindrop. Re: Lash caps, has anyone tried this on M20 or M10/30?

It seems that if you get to the lash cap propaganda there are 2 arguments:

1: wear on standard valves, like mine
2:tuning with special valves that can't take the punishment, titanium, and some stainless.

Re: Lash caps, has anyone tried this on M20 or M10/30?

Actually it might be the other way around. Are the valves bi metal or tip hardened? If they are tip hardened then it may have worn through and the rough surface from grinding the eccentric may have quickly filed through the valve stem. If so then a lash cap could save the day, as they would proven ...

My bushes are 1 year old. The car wobbled before and after. So I don't think it's the bushes.

The duk duk duk is distinctivly related to the speed of the car, it dies out when I pass 20 mph, and doesn't reappear until the next morning. (I allways leave my car in gear when I park it).
