Re: Battery warning light replacement bulb & holder

Brianmoooore wrote:If it says "quantity 1" against the part number, then it probably is the correct one.
This is the problem; there's one with a x (so >10)
and 2 with a quantity of 2

so if it is one of these then there's another one somewhere I don't know about!!!

Re: Battery warning light replacement bulb & holder

Hi Brian, I must have a different instrument cluster to you - mine has a fitment for a large bulb holder but the hole is only big enough for one of the small bulbs to fit through... I have one that is the same as yours too though - (dead SI batteries so to swap would be a pain for the sake of a bulb...

Re: Failed MOT

Ah thanks Brian, I did ask the tester but he was very unhelpfull, I think he may have just seen oil on the pipes and assumed it was steering fluid. Just for info, I never have any oil spots left under the car even after being parked for a week, and the steering fluid level doesn't drop. MOT Exhaust...

Whilst you're in there could you have a look at the bulb and holder for the Battery Warning (idiot light) please - I'm having a mare of a time getting hold of one.

Hey guys, I need to replace the battery warning bulb on the dash of my '86 320i Auto Moredoor - annoyingly I have lost the original with its holder and from looking on real OEM and speaking to BMW I am struggling with the part number. Can someone tell me the colour of the holder of this bulb? It's o...

Gooner - I won't be able to help after all - I've got a huge amount of running around to do (Blissfully in my E30) as the water pump siezed on my Z3 on Sunday (miles from home...) when it went the viscous fan punched a hole in my Rad and did untold damage to almost every associated part - so I'm run...

Also as above^ drive the old girl. Look at the rust buid up on the brake discs :D tut tut Thanks Oakey...

Ok, ok, I'll be removing the Eyebrows tonight! - seemed like a good idea at the time - having said that at the time I had 15" Hartge by O.Z. fitted so didn't look too over the top - Wheels had to be changed as I caught a nasty pothole and having just paid for them to be refurbed decided it best (mar...

Thanks guys,

Would you be interested in taking this on Tomson? or anyone else? I'd be more than happy to have a go - but havent got the first idea where to start, not being mechanically minded... plus the prospect of getting it done in a day......

Any quote seriously considered....

Auto to Manual Gearbox Conversion for a 320

Hi Guys - I've got my Bimmer up for sale at the moment, but due to lack of interest in what I believe to be a very nice example I'm considering doing the Auto-Manual conversion and keeping her a while longer - having never taken something like this on before.... What is involved? What will I need? A...

I dont think that it would hold very well without the valance - I did want to remove mine but gave up on it. Also I had problems with the rubber bumper strip end caps - you'll need to mod them (cut the bottom lip off) so that they fit back on - OEM Mtech repalcements are about £60 so the mod althoug...

I've not seen them with blanked out fog ports before, but will not question Clarko saying his is OEM...
