Re: Strange Central Locking Issue...

I have had a search and the only other common central locking thing I could see was the two red/black wires. Im guessing because mine is working/making noises it is not that at fault? :)

Strange Central Locking Issue...

Bit of a strange one, wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction before I start stripping parts down! Off the fob the car will open all doors, but will not lock them. There is a noise like a motor whirring, but nothing locks. This is the same if you manually press the lock down from th...

Re: What ETs can you get away with??

Well unfortunately the alloys I had my name n got sold to someone else so Im a bit miffed, guess we'll never know if they'd have fitted! They needed adapters as they were porsche fitment 5x130. Found an E30 in america with a 16x8 wheel on ET-10, gave the exact look I wanted so Im gutted these have g...

What ETs can you get away with??

Im currently looking at a set of 16*7, and 16*9 alloys, but they have a rather low offset, the front after adapters come to an ET of +5, and rears come to an ET of -21!! Im going to be running 195/40/16 tyres as I want an underwheeled low look. Whats the chance of squeezing these on? I dont mind rol...

Re: 16s or 17s? (See attached pic...)

That was my first impression too! Dont want to fork out on a set to find they dont look right though, lol! The backs are at least 9" looking at that dish :D The only ones I can find in my budget are 16*7 and 16*8 though... I reckon they'll give just about the same look with the correct spacing for t...

Central Locking Question!

Came out to the car as normal today , to find the central locking has packed up! I can open the drivers door with the key, but cant lock it with they key, it only locks half way; which means the handle can still be pulled opening the door slightly - but not enough to get in. Whenever it tries to ope...

Re: 60mm or 40mm Rear Drop?! Pics please!

Im not sure of the 17 stats that are on it currently (they're the E36 M3 reps... bought it with them on), but the ones Im refurbing at the moment to go on are 17*7.5J, ET 24. The tyres will either be 215/40/17 or 205/40/17, cant remember off the top of my head! I drive like a granny anyway so Im not...

60mm or 40mm Rear Drop?! Pics please!

Right Ive got an oppurtunity to order some brand new supersport coilovers for just over £200, so Im going for it! Only problem is there is two options as the rear is a fixed height, either in 40mm or 60mm. Front is height adjustable though. Now I want the slammed look but Im running on 17s and worri...

Re: Hello, newb! With some E30 questions!

Well I ended up buying the 318is I went to see! Diamond black, with heaps of receipts! Loving it at the moment, and with a little bit of tidying up here and there (things like gearknob worn) should look sweet. Shell appears to be solid, a few little bits of rust, but nothing major or the well known ...

Re: Hello, newb! With some E30 questions!

Cheers bud! The last owner has had it for quite a few years and looks like he has taken real good care of it! Re: Hello, newb! With some E30 questions!

Cheers cypriot!

Im after the IS engine dude to MPG more than anything, but trying to find a decent one with lower mileage is proving difficult! Im really tempted by this one Ive found if its as good as it sounds, but the 170k mileage is putting me off... :?

Hello, newb! With some E30 questions!

Hi guys, Ive come over as Im currently looking for an E30, prefferably a 318is. Im normally a dub boy, but Ive always liked E30's and decided the time is now to get one as a daily! Ive got this sitting in my garage for shows: http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i40/veedubdude/04.jpg Anyway, the E30 Im...
