Re: What would you do?
Near Swansea, South Wales. There's not many E30's down this way, sports are even rarer. My minds made up now, its going in the garage next monday, its gotta be on the road within 2 weeks. It is a genuine sport, so going by the feedback i cant lose really. Cheers zoners, just what i needed to hear.

unless it's a proper nail you can't go wrong with a tech 2 bought for £500 Have you checked for rust under the bodykit? that would be the deciding factor for me Lol! What would you do?
I bought my sport about 3-4 months ago, it'd been standing for the best part of 4 years. 99000 miles on the clock. I knew then it needed work-jus didn't think it would be that much. The more i poked around the car, the more work i found, some cowboy has had hold of this and made a right meal of some...

Had a letter from the insurance firm today. There gonna pay out £600 on a cash in lieu basis, so i can repair it myself. So i'm pretty chuffed with the outcome.

Out of a matter of intrest how has the 1st case gone. I just read the thread and seems the scum bag who hit you has been trying it on. Still waiting on the 1st case to go to court, which is a nightmare! My solicitor is fairly confident due to the fact it was a rear end shunt. Update on the front en...

Re: e30 problems?
I been rolling on a 60mm drop for the past 10 months, the issue i got is speed bumps, and multi storeys. The only real problem i have is each time i go over a bump the exhaust drags over it. Try a higher profile tire or a bigger rim, doesn't solve the problem, but sure helps.

Right where 2 start? 1. Central locking, as i've seen from previous posts from members with locking problems i decided 2 tackle mine myself. Not being the worlds most intelligent enthusiast, it didn't take me long to find myself in a pickle. Now i've only just read BrianMoore's locking mod, so i'll ...

?????? What's he claiming? You reversed into him at high speed? He's claiming i over took him and slammed on. He'll still struggle with that one as the impact is "square" in the rear, if you were overtaking and then veering into his lane whilst slamming on then the damage would be concentrated to t...

I finally got the car i've wanted since i was teenager, and at last a slip diff. winkeye Got it at a great price, but she needs a bit of tlc. She'll turn over, idle, but as soon as you hit 3-4 grand she cuts out, completely dies. I know the ecu unit has been replaced, apparently so has the fuel pump...
