I don't care what people think of convertibles. I just think they are jealous. I still love my convertible. I don't pay attention to other people's comments. The only comment I take notice of, is mine and only mine.

I just love driving with the roof down, whatever the weather. A spot of rain never bothered me that much either. I was driving too fast to care.

Of course there will be a difference between mpg between a 325i and a 325i convertible. For one thing the car is much heavier. I never fill my car with £20, so wouldn't know how far I travel.

It was a very good dayout. Plenty of lovely E30's as well as some lovely other cars including a nice 8 series and a couple of classics. Some very odd ones too, including a very peculiar Z3.

I'm pleased that my advice worked out one way or another and that you got all the problems rectified so quickly.

I was going to suggest that you post this thread in the technical section as you will get more help from the techies, rather than in the E30 chat, but Brianmooore has already beaten me to it! :winkeye:
