Yes I did see the 8 Series Alpina. In fact, I saw the old guy that owned it. I smiled at him and said "nice mota" he looked very chuffed with himself and smiled back saying thank you!! It's a shame you didn't see the cover, maybe next meet, or show. It's always in the back of my car. I think I saw y...

Re: Hey!

Welcome Stu As I say to most newbies welcome and enjoy the E30zone. No doubt you will have plenty of hours of fun and also get the advice that you are after. All E30 models are welcome, even though some members might not agree, but the E30zone's philosophy is no matter what model you have, as long a...

Will be good if your better half comes along. Your littlen will love it too, if they are able to come. I'm sure there will be some littlens up there too. Not quite sure. Best to check.

Really looking forward to it. Not that far away either.

Re: Funny E30 video

Are you saying that you are 19 with 2 kids already? Boy you started young. It always amazes me that people with kids now days have to have MPV's or 4x4's - what do they think was driven in the days before these things existed. My friend was brought up in the back of an E30 convertible with her...

isn't there a myth that if you drive fast enough you can't feel the rain or is that true? :? I had to do it as I was on the M25 and I was late to pick up a friend from Gatwick. Didn't feel a spot of rain on me or the car, except on the windscreen and then I had Rain-X on the windscreen and s...

I don't care what people think of convertibles. I just think they are jealous. I still love my convertible. I don't pay attention to other people's comments. The only comment I take notice of, is mine and only mine.

I just love driving with the roof down, whatever the weather. A spot of rain never bothered me that much either. I was driving too fast to care.

Love convertibles!! Even if they are supposed to be for hairdressers. :winkeye: :winkeye:

Of course there will be a difference between mpg between a 325i and a 325i convertible. For one thing the car is much heavier. I never fill my car with £20, so wouldn't know how far I travel.

That's a shame Rav. Well I hope that after all the hard work that you have done with her, she would allow you time to have fun in the sun. Let's hope that before our summer ends (what summer you maybe asking?) you will get time to drive her topless in the sun and with you not being too knackered. En...

The inside is the same as the outside, it can be used either way. I don't know what kind of material, but it will certainly not damage or mar the paint in any way.
