Re: we buy any car.com
webuyanycar is Carcraft. I was closely involved with a rival operation that only dealt in 'proper' cars for a year or so. The tales of people being offered silly money for their cars, then a better offer as a trade in, traipsing to Carcraft and the offer being halved 'after inspection' were too many...

Mine broke about an inch away from the plug. I replaced a foot or two of the wire just to make sure. Re: 325i touring rear wiper not working still
I washed my Touring the other day and noticed that the wiper works perfectly now, so I suspect a bit of white grease around the spindle might help on mine. It always works, but since I cleaned the car (and the back window was properly filthy - my work is based on a farm) it's been spot on.

My E30 has been used as my daily driver since June last year. Other than needing the waterpump replacing it has been fine, and even when the pump was on the way out it still behaved impeccably. I'd have no problems using it for another year but I'm off out of the country soon, and it's very difficul...

Mine uses water on long runs, but that's the only time it does. If I do 200 miles in one sitting it'll need topping up, but using it for 2-300 miles in town it doesn't use a drop. Probably HGF knowing my luck.

Cherokees don't like LPG. Plastic inlet manifold on lots of 'em. BW T5 box will take the torque, as will a BW T6.
I keep having nasty thoughts about dropping the turbo Rover lump from the Rangie into the E30, but it'd be wrong in too many ways.
The Jensen motor would be too insanely heavy.

Re: guys whats best.. induction kit or aftermarket air filte
It's a BMW, not a Renault. Therefore it's over-engineered from the factory (as was the case with E30s), not built to the lowest price possible. Fitting an aftermarket air filter arrangement won't do diddly squat (although the K&N panel may improve things very slightly) when fitted to an otherwise pr...

Mate of mine has a proper old slag of a 316 chromie in his workshop at the moment, it's been there for months. No floor, wings are shagged, most of it is utterly knackered but the owner has given him instructions to "Get that thing through an MOT as cheaply as possible. Don't worry about the cost". ...
