Re: M20 won't fire

It was completely rebuilt from the ground up, don't know much about its past though. I had bridged the dme relay with no luck, however I put a spare relay in it and she roared to life! Pretty loud with Just a manifold on! Got to try and get it to idle now...

M20 won't fire

I have just fitted an M20 to a 318i, plugged it all in but it won't fire up. I've tested CPS, spark and fuel are present. The c101 car side has a red/yellow wire at pin 20 and the engine side has no wire. I've also tested for 12v at the ecu block pins 27 and 18. Can anyone point me in the right dire...

High intake temps

Been workking on a supercharged car, its not boosting properly and the temp after the SC and before the I.C is very high, around 75 degrees. Anyone got any ideas as to why? I have tried two different chargers with no effect.

Re:

Today I put the two with brand new toyos fitted by myself on the front and the older tyres on the rear, this firmed up the steering, and moved the wobble from 40-50 to 60-70mph. Feels better but there is still a slight wobble. I'm going to change the lower arm asap (anyone got one with bushes?) and ...

Re:

It's a lot to think about! I may try swapping fronts to rear as one front one needed nearly 80g to balance it and didn't give me the best cofidence. I should get a new wishbone too, changing them is a bastard tho right?

There is a lead that goes through the bulkhead in front of the passenger's feet then along the left side of the engine bay. One wire goes to the air temp sensor which plugs into the left-hand air tunnel that leads from the air intake in the spoiler. The other wire goes to the horn (sounds if immobil...
