I would have guessed late also.. only because of the angle on the upper section, looks like it's not the right-angle that you would expect for S1 fogs.
The gearbox bracket is not supplied with the exhaust, I bought my new one from the dealers. I still had the old one on the old exhaust but we decided to put the new one on anyway. Don't suppose you'd have the part number for that bracket handy ? I'm expecting my Scorpion system to arrive soon and w...
Mine's still sitting on the driveway awaiting it's new exhaust to arrive from your fair shores. Seems to be taking it's time getting here though .......... My BTB headers are getting lonely by themselves with no-one to talk to.
I have had these Treehouse CAB's on my car for some time now. They do add just a little touch of harshness, but certainly not enough to become annoying. The improvements in control and steering feel outweigh any negatives (in my opinion). I found Treehouse Racing very easy to deal with too, fast ema...
Wish I could offer some help.. but I'm in exactly the same predicament. I have also replaced both relays on the pump (brand new items), replaced the overvoltage relay above the glovebox (tested ok, but replaced with brand new item anyway), and a known good ABS ECU (tested in another car). I have ins...
Yeah it's probably not a bad idea to go to the dealer and get a new adjuster nut. Mine was in a bad way when I did my cambelt and I couldn't get the correct tension without it slipping. A new nut and adjustment bar cost next to nothing, but will save any headaches when you re-assemble.
My 325 lives on a diet of Mobil 1 (synthetic 5w50). It had a tatty old yellow post-it note stuck in the service section of the owners manual "Mobil 1 only !" so that's what I've stuck with. Previous owner did oilchange every 5000km, and I've kept it up during my 3 years of ownership so far..
Yes I've heard of plenty of people with this fault too.. bbroken little plastic gears in the mechanism. Here in Australia you can buy equivalent gears from a local electronics store.
Here's a link to a US site which has some good pics to show you exactly what needs doing http://www.odometergears.com/
There's the Miller MAF which seems pretty good (I have one on my '88 325iSE). These threads give some info: http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=53068&highlight= http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=53087&highlight=maf Hopefully going to rolling...
No worries Jimi, there are a few threads over on e30tech about people trying this. I think the general concensus is that it's probably not worth the effort, unless you already have a dodgy AFM on your car. But seeing as it hasn't cost you anything so far, then it should be an interesting experiment ...
Front control arms are produced by a few different companies... LEMFOERDER, OCAP, and MEYLE. I chose Meyle when I replaced mine, the Lemfoerder's where quite a bit more expensive (I'm not exactly sure what the differences are, maybe better quality ball joints?). The original items on my car were Mey...
